Mynder - Book babysitters easily app for iPhone and iPad

Mynder is the first babysitting service in Australia (and perhaps the world) where you can easily book carefully vetted babysitters via an app. Were usually able to match you with a fantastic mynder within minutes!

We’re currently covering most of metropolitan Sydney, but we’re adding more suburbs and cities soon, so please download the app so we can let you know when Mynder is available near you.

We know our mynders. We’ve met them face-to-face and carefully checked their qualifications. To save you time and give you complete peace-of-mind, every mynder has to pass what we call the Parent Test:

* Two face-to-face interviews
* Talk with two referees (parents or child care professionals)
* Current First Aid qualification
* Verified Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Clear Police check
* 100 point photo ID check
* At least two years of child care experience
* Over 18 years old
* Non-smoker

We’re parents too. We only accept mynders we’d be thrilled to have caring for our own kids. Review some mynders’ profiles and watch their introductory videos and you’ll soon see the calibre of the carers who have joined our team.

You’ll never have to worry about going out at short notice again. No more frantically calling everyone you know trying to find a babysitter. No more listing on directories and wading through dozens of unsuitable applicants, checking all their credentials, only to have them not available when you need them, leaving you in the lurch.

We will make sure that a Mynder you’ll love, and have already met in the app and on the phone, shows up at your door every time. It’s amazing how quickly you’ll get a feel for a mynder when you watch their profile video. As they talk about what they love about babysitting it’s easy to tell who you’re going to click with. Add your favourites to your Wish List, and theyll always get offered your bookings first.

Our mynders charge $22 per hour, or you can choose to book a qualified mynder (teachers and qualified child care workers) for $27 per hour.

We charge a booking fee of $15, or you can become a subscriber and place unlimited bookings for just $30 per month. We’re confident you’ll feel youve received great value for your money having the peace-of-mind that your children are happy and in safe hands.
